Trip Overview:

1. Full Day: Forum Training

Prior to the study trip, there will be a 1 Full-day forum training organized by GEN Thailand collaborating with our partners. This forum will focus on Green Technologies, Sustainability & Leadership and Decarbonization providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of the latest developments and applications in these fields.

Participants will have the opportunity to engage with industry experts, researchers, and policymakers in Thailand and internationally to explore the potential of Sustainability & Leadership, Decarbonization and Green Technologies in driving sustainable development. The forum will also include site visits to innovative and Green Technology projects and facilities of prestigious universities in Melbourne like Monash University and University of Melbourne, local business communities as well as networking with the Victorian government officers.

2.Global Entrepreneurship Congress Melbourne (GEC): 19th – 21st September 2023.

    1. Attending the Global Entrepreneurship Congress, a renowned international event that brings together entrepreneurs, investors, and thought leaders from around the world.
    2. Participate in keynote sessions, panel discussions, and workshops to gain knowledge and insights on the latest trends and best practices in entrepreneurship.

3. University:

    1. Visit renowned universities in Melbourne, such as Monash University and University of Melbourne, known for their expertise in entrepreneurship and innovation, particularly in the areas of green energy and industrial transformation.
    2. Engage in interactive sessions with faculty members and researchers to understand programs offered by these institutions.

4. Government:

    1. A high-level networking session with members from the Victorian State and Melbourne local government.
    2. Engage in discussions on government policies, support programs, and initiatives aimed at fostering entrepreneurship and innovation in Melbourne.
    3. Explore potential collaborations and opportunities for partnership between participants and the government.

5. Industry Visits and Entrepreneur/ Start-up Workshops:

Day 1: September 18th, 2023, Monday

  • Arrival in Melbourne
  • Transfer to the hotel & Rest and relaxation
  • Evening: Welcome dinner and orientation session

  • Morning: Attend the Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC) sessions
  • Afternoon: Participate in keynote sessions and panel discussions at GEC
  • Evening: GEC Dinner

Day 3: September 20th, 2023, Wednesday

  • Morning: Continue attending GEC sessions and workshops
  • Afternoon: Networking session with Victorian State and Melbourne local government representatives
  • Evening: High-level networking dinner with Victorian State and Melbourne local government

Day 4: September 21st, 2023, Thursday

  • Morning: University visits (Monash University and University of Melbourne)
  • Engage in interactive sessions with faculty members and researchers

Facilities:

  • Accommodation: We will arrange for participants to stay in a comfortable and centrally located hotel in Melbourne, Australia.
  • Transportation: We will provide transportation to and from all scheduled activities and site visits.
  • Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided throughout the trip.
